In 1967, bijna 50 jaar geleden werd de eerste DBS versie ge\u00efntroduceerd. De nieuwe versie werd in 2006 op de markt gebracht.\r\n<h2>De oude Aston Martin DBS<\/h2>\r\nNa het succes met de DB5 en de DB6 werd de eerste Aston Martin DBS uitgebracht. Waar de DB6 nog steekjes liet vallen op het gebied van zitplaatsen, kreeg de DBS voldoende zitruimte voor vier personen. Innovatie voor de motor bleef echter wel achter. De motor werd namelijk gewoon overgenomen van zijn voorganger: de DB6. Wel kon de motor worden ge\u00fcpgraded van 282 pk naar 325 pk. Anders dan de gebruikelijke ronde vormen die door Aston Martin werden gehanteerd kreeg de DBS een aantal hoekige vormen om zich echt als nieuw model te onderscheiden.\r\n\r\nDeze auto, die enorm modern was in zijn tijd, werd gebruikt als de auto van James Bond in 1969. De film, \u2018On her majesty\u2019s secret service\u2019, bood een uitstekend decor voor deze prachtige sportwagen.\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3467\" src=\"https:\/\/www.passionwithoutlimits.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/aston_martin_blog_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"266\" height=\"131\" \/>\r\n<h2>De nieuwe Aston Martin DBS<\/h2>\r\nNa het gebruik van de naam DBS in het jaar 1967 wilde Aston Martin de oude versie vervangen voor een nieuwe. De nieuwe DBS beschikt over een razendsnelle 6,0 liter V12 motor. De DBS beschikt over een extra luchtinlaat waardoor het maximale toerental nog een stukje opgeschroefd kon worden. De 517 pk waarover de motor beschikt zorgt ervoor dat de auto in 4,3 seconden van 0-100 km\/h haalt. De maximumsnelheid van de supercar komt uit op 307 km\/h. Naast deze versie is er ook nog een Volante (een cabriolet) op de markt gebracht.\r\n\r\nZoals met alle grote Aston Martins was James Bond ook in deze sportwagen te vinden. Niet \u00e9\u00e9n, maar tweemaal schitterde deze auto de James Bond films.
