Urspr\u00fcnglich begannen die Br\u00fcder Maserati mit dem Bau von Rennwagen. Einer der Maserati-Br\u00fcder nahm n\u00e4mlich an Autorennen teil und brauchte daf\u00fcr ein Auto.
