In der Folgezeit musste das Unternehmen viele R\u00fcckschl\u00e4ge hinnehmen und erlebte zum Teil einen holprigen Weg.   \r\n\r\n<!--more-->\r\n<h2>Aston Martin w\u00e4hrend des Ersten Weltkriegs<\/h2>\r\nDer Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkriegs brachte die Produktion von <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astonmartin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aston Martin<\/a> f\u00fcr einige Jahre zum Erliegen. Nach dem Krieg erwies sich das Unternehmen unter der Leitung von Graf Louis Zborowski als erfolglos. Im Jahr 1920 beschloss einer der Gr\u00fcnder, Robert Bamford, das Unternehmen zu verlassen, und einige Jahre sp\u00e4ter verlie\u00df auch Lionel Martin das Unternehmen. Von da an durchlebte Aston Martin viele unsichere Zeiten, da es mehreren Eigent\u00fcmern nicht gelang, den wirtschaftlichen Erfolg zu sichern. Das Unternehmen kam 1936 wieder in Gang, als die neuen Eigent\u00fcmer beschlossen, sich haupts\u00e4chlich auf die Produktion von Stra\u00dfenautos zu konzentrieren. Er entwickelte die klassische DB-Reihe und ber\u00fccksichtigte dabei die W\u00fcnsche der Verbraucher. Er wollte Autos produzieren, die f\u00fcr normale Stra\u00dfen geeignet waren. Die Auftritte in den James-Bond-Filmen waren der absolute H\u00f6hepunkt f\u00fcr die Marke und brachten ihr gro\u00dfen Erfolg. Jahre sp\u00e4ter ging es jedoch wieder schief, weil die Eigent\u00fcmer keine klare Vision im Kopf hatten. 1987 wurde Ford zu 75 % Eigent\u00fcmer von Aston Martin und 1993 zum alleinigen Eigent\u00fcmer. Sie brachten Aston Martin in die Premier Automotive Group ein, und die Hauptaufgabe bestand darin, die Qualit\u00e4t der Autos zu optimieren. Diese \u00dcbernahme erm\u00f6glichte es ihnen, wieder ihre unverwechselbaren, einzigartigen Autos zu bauen, die noch immer in den Bond-Filmen zu sehen sind. Aber auch von der Partnerschaft zwischen Ford und Aston Martin ist heute nichts mehr \u00fcbrig. Ford verkaufte das Unternehmen, weil es zu viel Geld kosten w\u00fcrde, an David Richards, den Eigent\u00fcmer von Prodrive.
