“What separates a Bentley from the mass-produced, proletarian hordes is presentation. A Continental GT wouldn’t be worth the winged-B badge on the hood if its design, interior materials, andcraftsmanship didn’t leave you gobsmacked.”

Car and Driver

The Bentley Continental GT is a timeless four-seater sports car produced by the British car manufacturer Bentley since 2003.

Bentley had been owned by Rolls Royce since 1931. In the 1980s, Bentley placed more emphasis than ever on performance and ability. While Rolls-Royce continues to focus on classic exclusivity, Bentley focuses more on the sporty rider. Bentley has been owned by Volkswagen since 1998. The Continental GT is the successor to the Continental R and T based on the Rolls Royce. With the return of the Continental, parent company Volkswagen showed the “new Bentley”. Bentley, and especially the Belgian designer Dirk van Braekel, received a lot of praise for his new look and high-tech technology.

In recent years, various variants of the successful Continental series have been introduced. There are now the Continental GT (coupé), GTC (convertible) and Flying Spur (sedan). The convertible version of the Continental GT, the Bentley Continental GTC, was first shown at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 2005. The Continental GTC has a masterly 6 litre twin-turbo W12 engine that delivers 560 hp.
